INTRODUCTION

An unfair labor practice strike is a strike concerned with the violation of a labor relations law by the employer. The increasing level of strikes and lockout and the grave consequences it exacts on the economy calls for concerted efforts to address issues affect the welfare of workers. When workers are on strike their pay and other entitlements are withheld unless state law specifically provides for it. Some strikes result in deadlock and loss of jobs.
